In March 2013, Nicholas Wade Carter, now age 19, was arrested and charged with 2nd degree arson in connection with a fire at 110 East Robinson in Knoxville. Carter later pled not guilty, and was released on $10,000 bond. Carter was scheduled to go to trial in Marion County June 4, at 9 am, but court documents Friday show that trial has been postponed, and it is now set for 9:30 the morning of June 13. Earlier this year, court records showed that Carter was in prison in Missouri on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle.
