Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Public Relations Director Katrina Nelson says that Stephen Feltz, MD, with Obstetrics & Gynecological Associates in Des Moines, has begun seeing patients at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. Starting in August, Dr. Feltz and his colleague, Dr. Tamara Dassanayake, or Dr. T as she is commonly called, will both begin seeing patients twice a month at KHC.
Dr. Feltz brings the very best in specialized obstetrical care and gynecologic surgery. He not only specializes in routine and high risk pregnancy, but also specializes in women’s health focusing on the unique needs of women, from young adulthood through menopause. With close to 20 years of experience, Dr. Feltz has a specific specialty in the treatment of women with a wide range of conditions including urinary incontinence and overactive bladder. He is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is one of the only board certified physicians in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
