What started slow for the Central women’s soccer team ended up in a flurry yesterday as the Dutch scored four goals in a 26 minute span in the second half to shutout Cornell, 4 – 0. Each goal came from a different player; Abby Hillmer had the first and game-winning tally, Anissa Stanitzek, Brittany Hinton, and Felicia Roppe had the other goals for Central, who improve to 8 – 4 – 3 overall on the season. The Dutch are back to conference play at home tomorrow afternoon against Luther.
