Two weeks in a row, the Knoxville Football Squad has faced adversity and both times the Panthers have crawled their way out to post a two-and-oh start to their season. In week one, Newton scored 16 unanswered points to force a tie late, but the Panthers drove down to kick the winning field goal. Last week at Centerville, Knoxville fell behind several times to the Big Reds only to outscore Centerville 35-7 in the second half to win going away. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the last two weeks have given him an early indication of what kind of a team he has and how they can get through rough times. Kellar ads find a way out of trouble is the mark of a confident team. He says the seniors had a great mindset going into the season. Knoxville hosts Fairfield tomorrow night.
