The Pella Character Counts community organization is asking for nominations of high school seniors who exemplify the six pillars of character.

Character Counts annually recognizes one senior at Pella High and one at Pella Christian High.

Anyone in the community is asked to nominate a senior deserving of the distinction.

Those who which to select a Pella Community student are asked to contact Lowell Ernst (lowell.ernst@pella.k12.is.us) at Pella High School, and Dan Van Kooten (vankootend@pceagles.org) for a Pella Christian senior.

The nomination period ends Saturday.
