The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad is 0-8 on the season. Not where first year Coach Troy Pearson envisioned his team, but Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS there has been marked improvement from the first day of practice to now. While Nick Haselhuhn is clearly the team leader, Pearson credits some of the guys like Reese Wallace, Dakota Syhlman, and Daniel Beary for working hard to get the team better. He adds Wallace is currently tending to a knee injury and hopes to be back when the season resumes. Wallace, Syhlman, and Beary all average from four-to-six points per game. Pearson says one thing they need to improve on is a lot of small instances in games where there is a lapse or a dry spell that has prevented the Sabers from picking up that first win.
