Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Dennis Ridnouer will be in Knoxville on Friday, May 26th.

He will be speaking at the Knoxville Public Library about his book “The Vietnam Air War: First Person.” Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News Col. Ridnouer’s book is about the airplanes and technology used in the Vietnam air war as well as Col. Ridnouer’s time as an Air Force pilot. A 1961 graduate of Knoxville High School, Col. Ridnouer’s fellow classmates will celebrate his return to Knoxville with coffee and cake at the library. Col. Ridnouer will be speaking a 1 p.m.
