Residents are invited to bring their pets to the downtown Pella square this evening.

The theme for this week’s Thursday in Pella activities is “Bark in the Park.” A pet tricks contest begins at 6 p.m., followed by a pet fashion show at 6:30 p.m. on the Tulip Toren. Those who want their animal to participate can register by contacting the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance.

Bobber the Water Safety Dog will make an appearance following the pet fashion show. Happily Ever After Animal Rescue and the Marion County Humane Society will also set up downtown to discuss rescues and adoptions.

The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting from every Thursdays in Pella event this summer.
