Elementary students from Marion County got a taste of agriculture at a program hosted by Marion County Farm Bureau.

Ag in the Classroom was held at the Vermeer Global Pavilion Thursday, as kids from Pella, Knoxville, Pella Christian, Twin Cedars, and Melcher-Dallas learned more about agriculture. President of Marion County Farm Bureau Darin Botkin tells KNIA/KRLS News students participated in hands-on demonstrations with numerous local and state agriculture businesses and organizations.

He says the event aims to get all kids exposed to the impact agriculture has on Iowa.
