A Pella man faces numerous felony charges for an attempted delivery of LSD in the city limits.

Carter Lane Staples, 18, faces three counts of a controlled substance violation, including a class B felony, class D felony, and aggravated misdemeanor. According to court records, Staples is accused of delivering 12 grams of LSD, ten schedule 4 prescription pills, and seven grams of marijuana on January 4th to another residence in the community.

Police say detectives learned Staples made the delivery in his vehicle and issued a warrant for his arrest.
