Heavy snow put all high school sporting events locally to a halt, and the makeup contests start Monday for the Pella and PCM basketball teams.

The Mustangs travel to the Tulip City to make up for Saturday’s scheduled contests.

The Little Dutch are hoping to extend their eight game winning streak, while the Lady Dutch are trying to wipe the taste of a 72-41 loss Friday out of their mouths. PCM split with North Polk most recently, with the boys winning and girls falling.

Both games have been added to the broadcast schedule as a bonus, with pregame starting at 5:45 on 92.1 KRLS. Opening tip for the girls is at 6 p.m.

Pella Christian had their scheduled home doubleheader with Des Moines Christian moved to Saturday, January 19th. Pella’s wrestlers and bowlers had their events cancelled on Saturday as well.
