The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame has announced the names of the 12 inductees for the Class of 2022. The class is made up of five drivers, two owners, one mechanic/manufacturer, one promoter, and two media members. 

The five drivers selected were Bob Frey, Eric Gordon, Terry Gray, Tim Green, and Tony Stewart. The two owners inducted were Walter T. Ross and Dennis Roth. The mechanic/manufacturer selected was Ralph Heintzelman Sr. John Gibson was the inductee for the promoter category and Jack Kromer and John Miller were the media member inductees. The induction ceremony will be held Saturday June 4th at the Dyer-Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning the first week of February.
