The annual Memorial Day ceremony in Pella returned Sunday afternoon. VFW Post 5242 and American Legion Post 89 co-hosted the event that includes a tribute to veterans who have died in the past year, a celebration of those in attendance who served, music from the Pella Barbershop Singers, and other ceremonial procedures, including the playing of taps following a rifle salute. VFW State Commander Michael Braman was the guest speaker.
