Starting the dual with three bonus-point wins was enough for the Central College men’s wrestling team to roll to a 36-9 win over Augustana College (Ill.) Thursday night.

Central (5-1) started with back-to-back technical fall victories from David Vukobratovich and Brock Beck, before Pierre Baldwin added a pin at 141 pounds to launch the Dutch to a 16-0 lead. After a pair of losses, Lincoln Holub righted the ship at 165 pounds for Central with a first-period fall. Austin Roos continued the run with a 17-2 technical fall at 174 pounds. Samuel West, Gage Linahon and Hayden Hearne were victorious by decision at 184, 197 and 285 pounds, respectively.

Central travels to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the MSOE Invitational Saturday. The action starts at 9 a.m.
