Three students from Knoxville High School participated in the individual state speech contest on Saturday.

The event was held at North Scott High School and students who qualified for state after their respective district contest qualified. For Knoxville, Payton VanDorn received a Division One rating for literary program, Josiah Woods received a Division Two rating for musical theater, and Jason Krasko received a Division Two rating for improv.
