
During the months of May and June, the City of Newton will focus a digital marketing campaign to drive traffic to a new website. The City’s Marketing Manager, Danielle Rogers, says the new gettoknownewton.com website will be more of a tourism and economic and community development tool.
“With the topics of work, play, and live in Newton. It will have photos and videos from Bing Bang.”
Bing Bang in Waukee is the marketing agency the City of Newton uses. Rogers says the two month campaign is costing the city $23,560 and will use proven digital channels to reach a wide audience within a 50-mile radius of Newton. She adds the city will still be keeping its current newtongov.org website.
