Three Pleasantville athletic teams were in action on Thursday.

The Pleasantville girls golf team competed at a home triangular at Pleasantville golf and country club. The Trojan girls tied for second shooting a 214 as a team. Emily Roe had the low score for Pleasantville shooting a 48 to finish fourth at the meet. Other scores below:

The Pleasantville girls golf team will be back in action on Monday at Knoxville.

The Pleasantville girls and boys track and field teams were both in action Thursday with the girls competing at Central Decatur and the boys competing at Saydel. The Trojan girls finished third out of 12 total teams with 111 team points. Top finishers for the Pleasantville girls include Lauren Furnal winning the 100 hurdles, Amelia Latch winning the 800 meter, the sprint medley team, and 4X800 meter relay taking second, Carly Gripp taking third in the 100 meter, Summer Isley finishing third in the 400 meter, and Ryleigh Hardman placing third in the 400 hurdles and 3000 meter. The Trojan boys took eighth at their meet with 50 points competing with 15 total teams. Top finishers for the Pleasantville boys include Braylon Bingham winning the high jump, Nathaniel Oliver taking second in the discus while William Mesecher took third, JJ Phillips placing third in the 100 meter, Trey Mesecher placing third in the long jump, and the 4X100 meter relay placing fifth.
