The Indianola boys and girls tennis and soccer squads were in action Tuesday.

The boys and girls tennis squads matchup with Pella Christian, the boys winning 9-2 and the girls falling 7-4. Winning in singles for the boys included Bryson Rehmeier, Thomas DeWall, Blake Allen, and Reid Jackson, while the doubles teams of Rehmeier/Eli Chadwick, Zach Rothchild/Blake Byers, DeWall/Allen, Jackson/Tate Dales, and Jack Brown/Karter Larsen. Indianola is now 6-3 on the season.

The girls saw wins from Zoey Belt and Lauren Danielson in singles, losing two third-set tiebreakers, and then saw wins by the doubles teams of Emily Allen/Belt, and Maci Lerseth/Danielson. Indianola is now 3-3 on the season. Both tennis teams take on Dallas Center-Grimes tomorrow.

Both soccer squads fell to DCG, the girls 6-0 on the road and the boys 3-2 at home. The Indians boys fell behind 1-0 in the first half before a header from Hunter Chittenden found the back of the net. Indianola then went up 2-1 on a penalty kick by Allan Martinez, but the Mustangs tied the score then scored the winner late in the second half. The girls fall to 5-3, the boys to 5-4, and both teams will compete tomorrow, the girls hosting North Polk and the boys at Waukee.
