The Pella boys soccer team couldn’t hold their own against two of the best teams in the state, falling to No. 1 in Class 2A Bishop Heelan 6-0 and No. 2 in Class 2A Gilbert 5-0 at the Tigers home invitational Saturday.

Pella falls to 5-6-4 overall and is next in action Tuesday at Newton.

It will be a busy Monday as the postseason begins for spring sports teams. Monday’s slate:
