The Indianola Fire Department raised a record amount at their pancake breakfast fundraiser held on Saturday, taking over $4,000 in free will donations from hundreds of attendees. Fire Captain Thad White tells KNIA News the proceeds will go towards the purchase of neonatal transport systems for all four of the ambulance units, which integrate with the cots in the ambulances to allow for safe and secure treatment and transports of the most vulnerable patients.
