A road closure in the City of Knoxville is now underway on Robinson Street. 

Robinson St. from S 4th St. to S 7th St. was shut down  Monday morning as part of the ongoing Street Improvement Project. The improvements include removal of existing asphalt overlay, replacement of curb and gutter, new asphalt overlay, and improvements to pedestrian ramps at intersections. The city recently completed the work on E Main St. and that road is now back open. City Manager Heather Ussery expects Robinson St. to be finished during the first part of July.
