For the fifth straight year, the Knoxville Boys Golf Squad is headed to the class 3A State Meet. The Panthers placed 2nd behind winner and host Waverly-Shell Rock scoring at 313 two shots ahead of fellow qualifier Independence, while the Go-Hawks shot a 299. Knoxville was led by Grant Gerdes in 5th place shooting a 75, Brady Roozeboom was 9th with a 76 and cousin Luke Roozeboom was 10th with a 77. Knoxville will now head to the State Meet next Tuesday and Wednesday at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls.
