The annual kids fishing day at Marion County Park will be held June 7th.

The event, which is put on by the Knoxville Police Department, DNR, and Marion County Conservation, will be held from 8:00 am – 11:00 am and is open to kids ages 8-17. There will be fishing instruction, a free lunch at 11:00, and prizes. The event organizers encourage those that have a fishing rod and tackle box to bring them, but if not, there will be a limited number of loaner poles available.
