The Indianola girls track and field team came oh-so-close in their pursuit of a trophy at the 2025 state track and field meet Saturday, placing 4th in the Class 4A standings with 52 points, just four points shy of 3rd.

While the weekend was highlighted by Josie McGraw and her 400 Meter Hurdles championship on Friday, Saturday’s results included multiple school records and season bests:
100 Hurdles – Josie McGraw, 3rd (14.33)
1500 Meters – Jordyn Brown, 8th (4:38.33)
Shuttle Hurdle Relay – 4th, 1:01.87 (S. Downey, M. Grover, L. Hoger, J. McGraw)
Sprint Medley Relay – 4th, 1:47.22 (T. Gripp, K. Kindelspire, K. Sandy, E. White)
4×400 Relay – 2nd, 3:48.97 (E. White, K. Sandy, M. Grover, J. McGraw)
