This week is CPR Awareness Week, a week where the American Red Cross encourages the public to enroll in CPR and AED training to help save a life when someone goes into cardiac arrest and minutes matter.
Warren County Health Services Director Dr. Joelle Stolte tells KNIA News CPR classes are available to learn more about this life-saving technique. Dr. Stolte said the class combines Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid training into one convenient session. Lay Responder Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid classes teach the skills necessary to recognize and provide immediate care for breathing problems, cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrive.
Participants will be certified by the American Red Cross and a digital certificate will be issued upon course completion.
The course will be June 28th. Find more information below.
