The Golf Pro at Newton’s Westwood Golf Course expects to see some significant added revenue year round from the two Full Swing Golf simulators that are in the new clubhouse that just opened. Brad Sponseller has been the Golf Pro at the city-owned golf course for 17 years, and expects the simulators to be very popular.

“They are a lot of fun. They really are. You can play all these great golf courses and they are really life-like. When you see Pebble Beach on the 18th hole and the ocean on the left hand side, it’s there. Just another thing to expand the business and get people to come out and use the facility.”

Sponseller says the simulators allow you to play 75 to 80 different golf courses, and can be rented for $45 per hour.
