The PCM softball team will host Southeast Valley tonight in Class 3A Region 3 play.

The #4 ranked Mustangs are 22-4 on the season and coming off a 9-8 win over Newton in their last regular season game on Monday. The Jaguars sit at 13-12 overall and defeated Webster City 2-1 on Monday night. PCM on offense this season is averaging 8 runs a game compared with the 6.5 of Southeast Valley. The Mustangs hold a team ERA of 1.93 compared with the 2.73 of the Jaguars. PCM and Southeast Valley have never played in the Bound era. Tonight’s game in Monroe starts at 7:00 pm and the winner will either face Des Moines Christian or Greene County.
