The Pella Public Library will continue its Outdoor Adventure Series next week by hosting Central College professor of biology and environmental science Dr. Paul Weihe on Wednesday at 6:30 pm. 

Inspired by Iowa Politicians and his love of nature, Dr. Weihe spent 3 years traveling to every county in the state to explore their wetlands and blog about them. During the program at the library, he will talk about how he chose which sites to visit, how he prepared for the trips, and will share pictures of the flora and fauna he encountered. Additionally, Dr. Weihe will also explain why wetlands are such an important part of the landscape.
