Railroad crossing work is closing a Jasper County highway this week southeast of Oakland Acres. The Jasper County Road Department says Iowa Interstate Railroad is working on the Highway T-38 crossing, and the highway will be closed and impassable today through Friday. Northbound traffic will be detoured onto Interstate 80 westbound, to Iowa Highway 224 north, and then onto U.S. Highway 6 east. Southbound traffic will be detoured north onto U.S. Highway 6 east, to Iowa Highway 224 south, to Interstate 80.
