Despite rounds of rain keeping balloons on the ground for day one Friday, a more favorable weather forecast awaits the second day of the Lake Red Rock Balloonfest today. Activities resume at North Overlook Beach with scheduled launches and other festivities, including kids activities from 3-5 pm, food and t-shirt vendors at 3 pm, Live Music by The Sheet from 6-10 pm, the evening balloon lunch at approximately 6:30 pm, and the balloon night glow starting around 9 pm. Balloonfest will conclude on Sunday with the morning balloon launch at 6:30 am. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for updates from the event.
