
The Knoxville Public Library is offering weekly Geri-Fit classes.
These are fitness classes held every Tuesday at 4:00 pm in the Weiler Room of the library. Attendees are encouraged to bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. Knoxville Public Library Adult Services Librarian Cari Meissner says this class is aimed for those 60 and older but anyone is welcome to attend.
“We welcome everybody. Just bring yourself, bring some water, wear your comfier clothes. It is a fun workout, it is geared for seniors but let me just say I did it once and I got a good workout and I was sore for a few days afterwards. It’s fun.”
When attending Geri-Fit for the first time you will be required to sign a waiver.
