The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the board approved an amendment to the county land use plan, held a public hearing and approved a zoning map amendment ordinance, an Aging Resources of Central Iowa advisory council appointment, and designated Marion County voting representatives for the the Iowa State Association of Counties. The board also received and filed the annual treasurer report, and approved a salary study task force recommendation for consulting services from Austin Peters Group. The meeting closed with discussion regarding department board and committee management and standardization of all county logos.
