The Knoxville Cancer Relay has announced the dates for their annual fundraising event.

The 2025 Knoxville Cancer Relay will take place September 18-19 and will continue the group’s effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society. This year marks the 12th annual Knoxville Cancer Relay and is one of the largest cancer fundraisers in the state. The team of runners runs across the entire State of Iowa and traditionally has a kickoff party to get the event started. There are also runners who do a mile loop in town and a five mile loop as well. 

In its 11-year history, the KCR team has raised almost $300,000 for cancer research, patient treatment and support and has also taken over the 4th of July Freedom 5K and Thanksgiving Turkey Trot in Knoxville.
