The candidate filing period for the upcoming city council and school board elections begins on Monday. The Indianola City Council will have three seats up for election, Ward 2, Ward 4, and an at-large seat, in addition to the position of Indianola Mayor. The Indianola School Board will have four at-large seats up for election, with one of those positions filling out a two-year term instead of a four-year seat.
