The Knoxville Boys Cross Country Squad went to Indianola on Thursday and placed 10th out of 14 teams in a strong field of mostly 3A and 4A teams. Isaac Rankin finished 5th behind three Gilbert runners and one from Norwalk. Rankin’s time was 16:32. Other Knoxville runners was Connor Schultz in 43rd in a time of 18:14, Bradley Hembrook in 44th in a time of 18:16, Everett Schmidt in a time of 78th in a time of 20:06, Wiley Freeman in 81st in a time of 20:28, and Gavin Morgan placed 82nd in a time of 20:32. Knoxville returns home Tuesday at Pine Knolls for the annual Panther Invitational.
