The undefeated Pella football team made short work on a long trip east to Marion, defeating the Wolves 48-0, as heard on the KRLS2 stream Friday.

Despite an opening drive fumble followed by a punt, the Dutch got things rolling on the ground with Emmanuel Diers, who tallied 99 first-quarter yards and two scores. Michael Manning found passing touchdowns on 4th down conversions in the 2nd quarter. Benjamin Griffith added a pick-six in-between to get Pella to continuing clock by the 3rd quarter.

The Dutch pitched their first shutout of an opponent since October 2022, a feat Head Coach Ben Bollard says is touch to achieve.

Pella improves to 5-0 overall and has a looming showdown with Newton on the slate for Homecoming next Friday.
