Indianola Parks and Rec is hosting the next edition of their Afternoon Adventures Speaker Series next week, Lessons of the Holocaust. Kathy Kester with the City of Indianola tells KNIA News host Brad Wilkening will have a moving presentation on the rise of the Nazis, the Holocaust’s devastating impact, and firsthand survivor stories the presenter has personally gathered. The event will include a video on a reunion between a survivor and rescuer, and applying Holocaust lessons to today. The program is on October 7th from 1-2pm at the Indianola Activity Center, and is sponsored by Community 1st Credit Union and Oak St. Health.
