Norwalk Golfer Ian Lux

Ian Lux shot a 2-under-par round of 69 on Monday, leading the Norwalk boys golfers to second place out of five teams at the Ottumwa Tournament. Dallas Center-Grimes won the meet at Cedar Creek Golf Course with a score of 287 and Norwalk carded a 295. It was the Warriors’ third consecutive round below 300.

Lux placed second in the field with his season-best 18-hole round. Parker Cary and Tillman Papcun both shot a 75 for Norwalk and Dayton Poen added a 76. The Warriors will finish the regular season on Friday, competing against DC-G and Indianola in the Little Hawkeye Conference Classic. The meet will be held at the Indianola Golf Club starting at 10:00 a.m.
