Both Pella doubles duos made their way to the second day of the 2025 1A state individual girls tennis tournament. The #1 pair for Pella of Abby Hietbrink and Addi Namminga became the first in program history to make it to the semifinals round. That pairing defeated a group from Dike-New Hartford (6-1, 6-2) and from Clarinda (6-4, 6-3). Addison Van Wyk and Reagan DeJong started the day with a set three loss to Boone, but rallied in the consolation round, defeating Knoxville’s Jordyn Counts and Bridgette Liston and a duo from Xavier to advance to the consolation semifinals.
