Road work is underway at Marion County Park.

This construction started on Wednesday. The project will involve replacing the sealcoat road from the entrance of the park to the loop intersection and campground entrances. This work will be done in multiple steps to help reduce the impact to the campgrounds and park users.

The north campground entry/exit will be closed to all traffic as shown in red on the map below. Campground traffic will need to use the south entry/exit road as highlighted on the map. During this portion of the project, the dump station loop will also be closed.

The campgrounds at Marion County Park will close October 20th for the season. After that date, there will be times that the park is closed to the public when the road work moves to the front of the park near Willetts Dr.
