Looking to get back in the win column after losses over the last two weeks, the Indianola football team hosts Des Moines Lincoln tonight for their annual homecoming game. Despite the last two weeks ending up on the wrong side of the scoreboard, the Indians have done a stellar job at running the football with running back Dax Heimbaugh carrying the ball 53 times for 331 yards and a score, and will try to establish that again tonight against a Railsplitters team that is giving up over 28 points per game. Head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports the Indians have to get back to doing the basics at a high level, and when his team does that and doesn’t turn the ball over they can beat anybody.

The game tonight can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA and the ICSD Activities YouTube Stream, with Andrew Swadner, Rick Wilson, and Rob Hawkins on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff at 7pm.
