Indianola Football Travels to Ankeny Centennial for Crucial Contest
The Indianola football team travels to Ankeny tonight to take on the Centennial Jaguars in a matchup that potentially can have major playoff implications tonight. The Indians are coming off of a 56-0 victory over Des Moines Lincoln last Friday, and take on a Jaguars team that is in the middle of a tough stretch losing to Valley last week, and will take on Dowling Catholic next week. The Indians will have a change at running back after a season ending injury to lead back Dax Heimbaugh last week, and head coach Eric Kluver said it will be up to the entire team to step up and help fill that void and keep Indianola rolling.
The game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner, Rick Wilson, and Rob Hawkins on the call. Pregame from Ankeny begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff at 7pm.
