An additional panel of a mural in Pleasantville has been completed by a local artist.

The mural has been worked on by Pleasantville resident Jennifer Latch and it is located on the side of the Michelle Green Real Estate Office building. There are three panels total that Latch will complete with the mural and she just finished the second one. Latch says it’s special to do something like this for the community where she is from.

“She renovated the inside of this building, it’s the old town hall. We have family going way back in Pleasantville so the town is important to us, the history of the town is important to us, so she asked me to do a mural on the side of the wall so that is just really special to me, to be able to do something for our community. I’m wrapping in stuff that has to do loosely with real estate, keyholes, keys, doors, and eventually there will be a third panel which will be more history specific to Pleasantville or at least a nod.”

Latch hopes for the third panel to be completed next October.
