Pleasantville senior volleyball player Ariah Phipps has earned academic all-state honors.

Phipps was a captain on this year’s team and received the award from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. To be honored with this award senior student athletes must have two of the following: ACT Composite Score of 27 or higher, cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher, top 5-10% (depending on school size) of their school’s senior class.
