A new staff member is joining Pella Regional Medical Clinic in Sully. Pella Regional Health Center has announced that Lisa Smith, a Family Nurse Practitioner, will begin seeing patients at the medical clinic in Sully on Thursday, April 30th. Smith has nearly 20 years of experience in providing acute and primary care for patients of all ages in rural health clinics. Smith says she enjoys providing patient-centered care, and is compassionate about ensuring patient comfort by hearing their story and not just reviewing their history.
Smith earned her Master of Science in Nursing Studies from the University of Missouri’s Sinclair School of Nursing in Columbia, Missouri. Before that, she obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing from the Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines, Iowa.
