The Knoxville City Council will consider the approval of adopting the Fiscal Year 27 budget at their meeting tonight.

Over the course of several meetings the council heard budget presentations from each city department and then at the last meeting they were shown a budget overview presentation. The council will now hold a public hearing and look to officially adopt the budget. Also at the meeting, there will be mayoral readings of a National Volunteer Week and National Library Week proclamations, a public hearing and consideration of directing the sale of lots in the VA District, and consideration of the final plat for the Red Rocks Station subdivision. The meeting will close with a sports complex project update.

Tonight’s Knoxville City Council meeting will start at 6:15 pm at city hall.
