Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) recognized 32 employees who are celebrating a milestone service anniversary in 2026 during an awards ceremony held during National Hospital Week, May 10-15.

 Employees were recognized with 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, and 55-year service awards. The 32 employees represent a combined 400 years of providing health care to patients and the communities they serve. 

 

 5 years of service: Karen Bacon, Wendy Carlson, Keri Carter, Colby Dunn, Nathan Friedman, Sarah Hancock, Courtney Hoch, Arleth Law, Riley Remington, Dr. Jared Rietveld, Jacob Scharf, Shantell Schneider, and Jonna Van Ness, ARNP.

 

10 years of service: Dawn Bender, Kellie Beyer, Katelyn Clark, Jen Coxe, ARNP, Dr. Cynthia Hoque, Dr. Ryan Laughlin, Dr. JB Law, Alex Peterson, and Madison Swayne.

 

15 years of service: Hayley Dobson, Maggie Hamilton-Beyer, Kevin Kincaid, Kayt Smith, and Sheryl Ann Woods.

 

20 years of service: Dr. Bhama Jayaveerapandian and Mike Worthington.

 

30 years of service: Jennifer Padellford.

 

45 years of service: Julie Albert.

 

55 years of service: Barb Anderson.

 Each employee was honored with a monetary gift in various amounts.

 “Our people are our greatest strength, and we are incredibly grateful for their years of dedication and service,” said KHC Director of Human Resources Dylan Mick. “Their hard work, compassion, and invaluable experience have played a vital role in making KHC the outstanding health care organization it is today.”

 In addition, Eric Clark was honored as “Hero of the Year” and Courtney Hoch, RN, was recognized with the annual DAISY Award.
