
The Pleasantville baseball team defeated Gilbert in lopsided fashion Monday night anchored by a no-hitter from Brayden Kennedy.
The Trojans defeated the Tigers at home 10-0 in six innings as Kennedy only allowed one base runner from a walk and recorded eight strikeouts. At the plate, Easton Cox had two hits and scored three runs while recording an RBI, JJ Phillips was 2-3 with an RBI, and Will Mesecher went 1-3 with a home run. The Pleasantville baseball team starts their 2026 season 1-0 and will be back in action tonight against Albia.
