Girls Soccer:

The Indianola girls soccer team defeated Little Hawkeye Conference opponent Pella Christian on the road 3-0. Goal scorers for the Indians were Phia Wilson and Lauren Berk with the first goal of the match being an own goal. With the win, the Indians are now 2-2 in conference play and 5-4-2 overall. Up next for Indianola is a road match at Des Moines Christian Thursday night with kickoff scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Softball:

The Indianola softball team fell in its opening game of the season with a weather related-shortened 8-2 loss to Dowling Catholic. The Indians played their first game under new Head Coach, Libby Hainer. With the loss, the Indians are 0-1 and will return to the diamond Wednesday, May 27th with a home doubleheader agianst Pella.

Baseball:

The Indianola baseball team picked up a 2-1 win in a weather related-shortened six inning contest over Dowling Catholic Monday. Prior to the game, the Indians recognized Doug Shull with the renaming of the baseball and softball complex to Shull Athletic Complex. With the Indians win, they are 0-1 and return to the diamond Thursday with a home doubleheader against Ottumwa beginning at 5 p.m.
