The Knoxville Boys Golf Squad has qualified for the State Tournament for the 6th consecutive year by finishing runner-up at the class 3A district in Atlantic on Monday. The Panthers scored a 287 and finished seven shots behind Des Moines Christian and five ahead of Atlantic, who also qualified. Grant Gerdes led the Panthers with a 69 in 3rd place. Brady Roozeboom was 4th overall, Luke Roozeboom finished 15th while Mikey Devos was 19th, Tommy Buttell 25th and Urban Ziller placed 32nd. The Panthers will advance to the State Meet next Tuesday and Wednesday in Waterloo.
